This photograph was taken on April 21 on the Coquihalla. Yes, that’s snow, and yes, it’s blizzard stuff. Not so bad when there’s lights on the highway, but when that 1/2 km is passed, it’s pitch black out. This photo doesn’t make it look as bad as it was… but there’s enough snow on the ground to stay. Apparently they got a few inches that night.

Still quite a bit of snow on the deck. A foot short of the railing, which is about 1.5 m tall.
This way up is much easier than the other way down. I think I should do my hike backwards.. Or at least put in a loop…
I like to find the paths less traveled, though this one is still traveled.
The dog next to a fresh pile of snow. You can see if he was laying in the snow directly, the snow would be up over his back.
Got a dumping of snow yesterday, to go with the already large pile of snow. I was thinking the car was so close to getting uncovered, but no. Not yet.
This is the snow that remains from the seasons snow dumps. It’s melted down quite far a few times already.
Guess I’m wearing my big boots today for my walk..
Snow day at Silverstar. Yeh, be jealous. One of the best days I’ve had in a few years. We’re talking about 30 cm of fresh 24hr powder on about 190 cm base… and it was snowing all day.
My brother in a moment of snowy glory. Snowboarding at Powder King, British Columbia.
Anybody else see the snow the other day? Thank goodness I have studded tires for the 10 minutes it lasted…
Some cold bird houses in and around Whistler. I like finding things like this, it makes a place feel lived, and loved by somebody.
Icicles up in Whistler.
I’m not saying your lens was worth the photograph, but what do you think of it @BaronSCameron?
And yet another beautiful day up at @SFU Burnaby. This was late January.
